3 For 3

Back from our whirlwind weekend in CA, our sweet Buck went 3 for 3 in his first-ever accordion competition. We all enjoyed the musical experience, as well as a fun day at Knott's Berry Farm's amusement park. Coming home with three trophies sure made the event a lot more fun for Buck. I will try, later, to post a short video clip of his practice session taken before his Sunday performance.

Here's our handsome guy (most always wearing a Fedora these days) with his accordion teacher, Earl "Digger" Robinson, who came along with us for the grand adventure. We are grateful for his knowledge, patience and guidance in teaching Buck to play the most difficult instrument that I'm familiar with. Well done, boys!

I'm just so impressed with the enthusiasm and determination Buck has shown with this instrument. What a wonderful weekend he must have had and I'm so happy he was rewarded for his efforts.
