Happy Father's Day...
Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 02:16AM To my husband, thanks for being a great dad to our four kids, who are growing up faster than I can believe, even though I'm watching. This photo was taken the first day of school when Audra was in 6th grade.....she's now starting high school. Thanks for loving all of us and for being a great dad!
To Grandpa Marvin....Happy Father's Day. Hope it was a great one. The kids miss seeing you and send their love. We'll make it for a visit this summer!
And my dad, whom I miss more than is humanly imaginable. I wake every day with you in my heart. Father's Day is the hardest. The hole is healing and a little less raw, but it's still deep and every now and then I fall in. The kids and I told lots of stories today as we remembered all the fun we had together. So many good times! Never had a bad day, never an unkind word and no regrets. Happy Father's Day, dad, I love you and I miss you!
And grandpa Frank....life's just not the same without you. Always up to a prank, causing trouble with the kids and reminding me that my purse is too heavy. We all miss the ways you amused us, like the unexpected hold-up of Sierra in Cracker Barrel. We miss you!
