Our Grand Adventure

We are home now, from our grand adventure in Durango, CO. It felt soooo good to sleep in my own, terrifically comfortable, cozy bed last night and I awoke completely rested and refreshed. As great as it was to be away, it is wonderful to be home!

Because our Colorado schedule had us constantly enjoying the absolutely gorgeous outdoors and kept us in perpetual motion for most of our waking hours, I did not get to blog much or post any photos.  I do plan to sit and recap some of our trip, but at the moment am chin-high in suitcase unpacking and laundry...a job I always make a point of finishing immediately upon returning home. 

I did want to post a couple photos of our rafting trip down the Animas River. We had tons of fun and the best river guide, who we all agreed, bore a strikingly strong resemblance to Jesus. Seriously!
