Oh, you lucky boy to have grown up skiing here! Isn't it Heaven on Earth? I am flooded with early childhood memories and we are loving the cool summer - quite the opposite of home right now. I thought of you immediately as I know how much you, too love CO...it just screams, come play outside!

Yes, parts of Texas are great! We were supposed to get there (Fort Worth) this summer, but it's not going to materialize. Buck really wants to go tour TCU and we will. He would love to go to school with Coop...that's for sure. ASU sounds like a great choice and who knows where Buck will eventually end up...he's also looking into scholarship opportunities.

Hope Coop gets to play soccer in Europe....might be better after college. Colton's former coach played there starting when he was 14. Crazy!

I have just bought this book, have not read it yet, by the director of children's development at TCU. I cannot believe how many families we have met from Texas that have adopted. I liked the east end of Texas, but the west end was blah. We never got down toward Austin or San Antonio but I hear it's really nice.

Buck is just like Coop, such a sweet and gentle soul. Coop has plans of going to college with Buck at ASU- for real- so make sure Buck keeps Coop in the loop on where he's heading so Coop can make adjustments. Of course, Buck may have to wait a year because remember Coop wants to play soccer in Europe for a year before college.

Yes, I think all the kids found it to be quite entertaining! I'm glad that it wasn't too painful and it all ended well....funny that Trevor uses the photo as his screensaver. I think he now wants a snake!

Sheila, your depiction of the happenings of that day made me cry and chuckle at the same time. The best part is the wonderful elation bellowed from Audra that our commotion MADE HER WEEK! What a blast it was to see your family scrambling to rescue me.
